Mr. Campbell joined the City of Saline staff as City Manager in 2008. He came to the City from the City of Sturgis, Michigan, where he held the position of Assistant City Manager. Previously, Mr. Campbell served as Assistant City Manager for the City of Greenville, Michigan, Village Manager for the Village of Homer, Michigan and was an Administrative Intern for the City of Cadillac, Michigan.
Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelors Degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Mr. Campbell is a Credentialed Manager and a member of the International City Management Association and a member of the Michigan Municipal Executives.
Mr. Campbell is a member of the Saline Rotary Club (Past President), serves on the board of directors for Saline’s Coalition for a Quality Community (serving as president for 2017), is a member of the board of directors for the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce (ex officio) and serves as a member of the Saline Main Street board of directors (ex officio).
Mr. Campbell is married to his beautiful bride Kimberly and they have three incredible children. The Campbells attend Keystone Church in Saline, where he also serves as a youth leader for the middle school/high school youth group. Mr. Campbell also serves as a volunteer coach for the Saline High School Football program.
