Friday, January 12 at the Saline Rec Center

Bring your nerf guns and your friends to this epic night of Nerf Wars! Please be sure to bring your own protective eyewear. Nerf bullets and team bandana are included. Do not bring Nerf bullets. We have plenty for everyone!

American Girl Tea Party

Saturday, January 27 at the Saline Rec Center

Aloha! It’s our annual American Girl Tea Party! This year we’re celebrating American Girl’s newest historical character Nanea Mitchell, who lives in Hawaii, with a very special luau! Bring your favorite doll, enjoy yummy treats, do fun crafts, make something special for your doll and get ready for some tea party surprises.

American Girl Doll, Clothing & Accessories Sale

Saturday, January 27 from 11 am-12:30 pm.

Rent a table for $10 or drop off items ($1 each) and we will sell them for you. Profit is yours to keep. Items to sell can be dolls, clothing, furniture, accessories, books etc. for American Girl or 18 inch dolls.  

FREE admission to the sale. You do not need to register for the Tea Party to be a seller or attend the sale as a shopper.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Friday, February 16 & Saturday, February 17, 6:30-8pm at the Saline Rec Center

Treat that special girl to a night out at the 23rd annual Daddy Daughter Dance.

DJ *  Dancing *  Balloon Drop * Crafts *  Ice Cream Sundae Bar

Keepsake photo packages will be available for purchase. These dances sell out every year so get your tickets early. This event is open to all young ladies and an adult male date of their choice (dad, grandpa, uncle, etc.).

Mom2Mom Sale

Saturday, March 3, 8:30am-12pm at the Saline Rec Center

Our Mom 2 Mom sale has 90 tables of gently used children’s clothing, toys, books and gear for a fraction of the cost of buying them new.

Sellers: Purchase table space to sell your child-related items. As there are limited quantities, please one table configuration per family. No vendors. No refunds after February 23.

Buyers: Come see what everyone has to offer. Early bird admission from 8:30-9 am is $2 per adult. After 9 am is $1.

Table Rentals:

  • 1 6-foot table: $18
  • 2 6-foot tables: $36
  • 1 8-foot table plus 5'x3' extra space*: $34

*Racks, shelves bins, items etc. MUST fit within that space. Round racks typically do not fit.

Large Items:Large items are things such as strollers, bikes, swings, outdoor toys etc. You do not need to have a table to sell large items.

  • Registration deadline is Thursday, March 1.

Springfest

Saturday, March 31 at the Saline Rec Center

Four great events to mix & match for a perfect spring day of family fun!

Egg Scavenger Hunt at 11:30 am: Bring a basket to collect eggs scattered throughout the woods behind the Rec Center. Children will be divided into the following age groups: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-10. A few lucky eggs will have a prize sticker. All participants will receive a goody bag. This event will take place outside rain, shine or snow. Event starts promptly at 11:30 am by the play structure so don’t be late!

Lunch with the Bunny at 12 pm: Mr. Bunny himself will be making the rounds as you enjoy a pizza lunch. Bring your camera to take pictures with the Bunny. Location: Gym.

Hippity Hop Trail 12-1 pm: Pick up treats and visit with local businesses along the Hippity Hop Trail inside the Rec Center. Those who sign up for the Egg Hunt, Lunch with the Bunny or Egg Dive receive free admission for the Trail.

Egg Dive at 1 pm: Collect floating eggs scattered throughout the leisure pool. A few lucky eggs will have prize stickers inside. Children will be divided into the following age groups: 6-8 and 9-12. All participants will receive a goody bag. Participants are welcome to stay and swim after the event.

Hippity Hop Trail

The Hippity Hop Trail is a wonderful way for local businesses and organizations to celebrate the season!  We’ll provide you a table to display your information.  Families will visit each booth along the trail.  The cost to participate is just $20 plus 200 treats to hand out. Be one of the first 10 businesses to sign up & pay only $10!

Special Event Refund Policy

The refund policy is listed in the Saline Rec Center Member Handbook.  Note: refund requests for special events must be submitted prior to the day of the event and are subject to an administrative fee.  Refunds will not be issued for those requests submitted the day of the event or after the event is held.
