MERMAIDS & MATEYS: Adventures on (and Under) the High Seas

Friday, March 24 from 6:30-8pm at the Saline Rec Center

Calling all pirates and mermaids! This fin-tastic event features a live mermaid to swim and play with in the pool, mermaid tails for you to try on and swim around in, the inflatable pirate ship, pirate treasure, crafts, snacks and more.

Cardboard Boat Race: It’s optional but incredibly fun. At home build a boat using nothing but cardboard and duct tape that’s big enough to sit in. Then hop in and paddle across the pool before it falls apart. Hint: the more duct tape the better! Boats require an adult in the pool as they tend to be very unsteady in the water.

Day Date Time Early Bird Fee Fee Day of Fee
F 3/24 6:30-8pm $10 (ends 3/12) $12 $14 if not sold out

Doors to the aquatic center and family locker room will open at 6:15 pm.

This is a family event and adults are expected to be in the pool so everyone in attendance must pay. Children 2 and younger are free. Children 6 and younger must have an adult in the water with them at all times.
